Privacy

The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and what you type into them is never sent to us or anyone else.

The calculators

Servings, rice amounts, dumpling counts and everything else you enter are worked out by code running on your own device. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no uploads. When you copy or download a shopping list, the text is made in your browser and goes straight to your clipboard or your downloads folder.

What is stored on your device

Two things are kept in your browser's local storage, on this device only, and only if you use them:

• your light or dark theme choice, if you pick one with the theme button;
• which wok seasoning steps you have ticked, so the checklist remembers your progress. "Start again" on the checklist clears it.

You can remove both at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type into the tools. Weekend Wok does not use cookies, advertising or any other analytics or trackers.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare's network handles the requests your browser makes to load the pages.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, including our sister sites and the free services in the footer. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
